I don’t believe it!

One of my teachers wrote in my autograph book when I left primary school ‘Madeleine is a quiet girl, but I’m sure she will make a big noise in the world one day’! Maybe this blog and business is it? Although at the time all I could think of was blowing raspberries (Sorry, I was young and silly but I did know deep down that she might be right!)

I can’t quite believe I’ve started a blog! It mainly thanks to my fantastic business coaches Judith and Marion who run the course I am now on. With their encouragement and support since June 2006 I have set up ‘Mad About Herbs’, started a website www.madaboutherbs.co.uk , an e-mail newsletter and now this blog, attended three craft fairs selling herb related products which I have made from scratch including room sprays, lavender pillows, pot pourri, bath oils and a calendar. Oh yes and I also moved house in July 2006. Phew!

There are plans for more products; I am on a steep learning curve about what people do or don’t want, the best way to promote etc, so any feedback on what YOU would like to see in the herb product/service range would be much appreciated. Anyway, the aim of this blog is to bring you herb related news, events information, handy hints and tips about herb gardening, cooking and crafts. You can also receive a FREE report entitled the ‘Health Benefits of Herbs’ by subscribing to my ezine (click on the link at the top of the page).

Way to go, Madeleine!

After umming and arring, I started a blog this month, too!

They’re a great way to keep in front of prospective clients, and also to let people know what you’re up to!

They’re offer a fantastic method of two-way communication (if you get any comments from your target market!) with a highly targeted audience. And they’re great for relationship building.

Most of all, they’re just a really great way to share your expertise, knowledge, news and other goings-on with a much wider audience.

So, as you can see, I’m a blog convert!
